Aleppo, (SANA-Mazen)-Al-Hamadaniya bakery in Aleppo on Thursday resumed work and production after providing it with wheat and fuel. The public bakery was closed due to the unfair blockade imposed by the armed terrorist groups on the city and its citizens.
During a field visit, Aleppo Governor, Mohammad Wahid Akkad called for adhering to the quality of production and sale and appealed to the citizens to stand in a regular queue, adding that the bakery will work for 24 hours to ensure bread to all citizens.
“Efforts are being extorted to supply Aleppo with all needs… the convoys of food, wheat and oil began arriving in the city in turn,” the governor said.
Later, Akkad inspected a convoy of food which carries different kinds of materials including oils, cheese, rice, sugar and other materials.
Syrian Network for monitoring the human rights condemns violations of terrorists
Meanwhile, the Syrian Network for monitoring the human rights condemned violations of the armed terrorist groups against the Syrians, particularly in the city of Aleppo, saying that the network has received scores of the citizens’ complaints in the region where the terrorists are present describing the human situations there as tragic.
“Families of the besieged regions stressed that there is severe shortage in the nutritional materials in Aleppo, describing the situation as catastrophic as the armed terrorist groups prevent aid supplies from being delivered to the families in Aleppo,” the Network said in a statement.
It added that the fact-finding committees underlined that the armed groups spoil what the citizens try to take of vegetables and fruits, or they impose ransoms between 1500 to 2000 SYP in order to allow the food in.
