Prague, (SANA report by H. Zain/ Ghossoun) – July 22, 2013

– Representative of the European Solidarity Front for Syria, Patrick Fondak, on Monday stressed that what is taking place in Syria is a foreign aggression and interference against a sovereign state and not a civil war as some media and politicians claim.

On the event of solidarity with Syria organized in Prague on Saturday, Fondak told the Czech Hello Novini newspaper, that the event aims at voicing solidarity with Syrian people who are suffering due to the foreign interference and support to President Bashar al-Assad.

He said “a similar solidarity event in Czech to be held soon.”

Earlier on Saturday, the European Solidarity Front for Syria and the National Union for Syrian Students, Czech branch organized a huge stand in Prague in solidarity with the Syrian people in the face of extremism and terrorism.

  2. The Czechs have recent enough experience of Soviet tanks and troops rolling into the sovereign nation of Czechoslovakia that there are men and women alive today who fought the Soviets – – they understand foreign aggression against a sovereign and independent State, and recognize the same thing as what is now going on in Syria. Bless the Czechs for saying, loudly, that ‘the emperor has no clothes;.
