Damascus, (SANA) ā€“ Minister of Information, Omran al-Zoubi, stressed that Syria would press on its war against terrorism and it would never allow the western-backed aggression, which is being prepared, to achieve its goals.

During a meeting with Jordanian popular and parliamentary figures in Damascus, al-Zoubi clarified that Syria is ready to confront the aggression, considering it as a reaction to the sweeping victories achieved by the Syrian Arab Army against the armed terrorist groups, particularly in eastern Ghouta.

He pointed out that the allegations on chemical weapons use by Syria and the attempts to accuse the government of perpetrating such acts are all baseless and untrue.

He added that the meeting of 10 general chiefs of staff to make a decision on launching aggression on Syria is inconsistent with good-neighborly relations and Jordan’s announcement that it would not allow its territories to be used in any aggression against Syria is the normal attitude, hailing the stances of the Jordanian people on the aggression against Syria.

The Jordanian delegation expressed the support of the Jordanian people to Syria in face of this aggression and their confidence that Syria’s steadfastness will not be broken.
