Mortars, rocket launch pads & launcher destroyed in continued army operations
September 21, 2013 – More heavy weaponry for terrorists are being destroyed in the army’s continued operations in several areas on Saturday, including rocket launch pads, heavy machine guns, rocket launchers and mortars.
Army units kill terrorists in Deir Ezzor
Army units seized automatic rifles and tens of rockets in Deir Ezzor and its countryside, killing and injuring numbers of terrorists, among them affiliated to the so-called ”Ahrar al-Sham.”
An official source told SANA that members of a terrorist group called ”Al-Abbas Brigade” were killed in al-Arfi neighborhood, among them Mohammad Sallaj, as army units destroyed terrorists’ concentrations and hideouts in al-Ardi, al-Sheikh Yassin and al-Hweika neighborhoods in Deir Ezzor city.
The source added that an army unit destroyed a den for ”Ahrar al-Sham” in al-Shemmitieh village and confiscated 70 home-made rockets, 5 automatic rifles and a sniper rifle, killing and injuring all the terrorists inside.
In al-Merieh village, an army unit killed 4 terrorists and injured others and destroyed weapons and ammunition for them.
Terrorists targeted with a mortar shell the citizens’ houses in al-Joura neighborhood in Deir Ezzor, causing material damage in the area.
Non-Syrian terrorists killed, rocket launcher destroyed in Lattakia
Units of the armed forces destroyed heavy machine guns, a rocket launcher and dens and eliminated numbers of terrorists of foreign nationalities in the villages and towns of the northern countryside of Lattakia.
SANA reporter quoted a military source as saying that an army unit carried out an operation in Bait Ibleq village during which it killed 12 terrorists, injured 11 others and destroyed two cars loaded with weapons, ammunition and Grad rockets.
The Turkish terrorist Mohammad Orkli was identified among the dead, in addition to Abdul-Rahman al-Etr and Abdul-Rahman Sammour.
Eleven other terrorists were killed and 5 were wounded and a heavy machine gun mounted on a car was destroyed in al-Kabir village, according to the source. Among the dead was Abo al-Khattab al-Shishani from Chechnya and Ahmad Abdul-Rahman.
The sourec told SANA reporter that an army unit destroyed a gathering for Jabhat al-Nusra-linked terrorists, in addition to three cars equipped with heavy machine guns and a rocket launcher in Droushan village.
Scores of terrorists were killed in the operation, including Omar al-Sayyed, Mohammad Abo al-Einein and Saleh al-Masri from Egypt and Ahmad al-Saudi from Saudi Arabia.
In al-Koum village, an army unit killed a Palestinian terrorist nicknamed Abo al-Othman al-Safadi, who is one of the leaders of the so-called the Islamic State in Iraq and al-Sham.
Scores of terrorists killed in Damascus and its countryside
Meanwhile in Damascus and its countryside, the army units killed numbers of terrorists during operations which targeted their dens in the eastern Ghouta and the southern and northern countryside of Damascus.
An official source told SANA reporter that units of the armed forces achieved a remarkable progress in chasing down terrorists toward the Syrian Education channel’s building in Barzeh neighborhood in Damascus after having killed many of them.
Other army units, the source said, destroyed surveillance cameras and other equipment which the terrorists had set up near al-Moallimeen building in Joubar neighborhood in the countryside and killed and injured a number of terrorists.
The source added that army units hunted down fleeing members of armed terrorist groups on the outskirts of Shabaa town and killed many of them, including Ali Eleiwi and Yasser al-Kreidi.
A special operation carried out in the farms between the Bahariyeh and al-Qassimiyeh in the eastern Ghouta resulted in destroying heavy machine guns and killing the terrorists Saer al-Rifaei and Mohammad Abdullah.
In the city of Douma, an army unit killed an armed terrorist group linked to Jabhat al-Nusra in al-Deiriyeh quarter. Terrorists Hassan Alaya and Abo Rida al-Baghdadi were idedentified among the dead.
A den was destroyed in al-Ebb farms, along with the weapons and ammunition inside it, and terrorists were killed, including Abdul-Hamid Wahbeh.
The source also mentioned that an army unit clashed with a terrorist group in al-Mleiheh town and left all of its members dead, including Ahmad al-Ghandour.
Another army unit clashed with a terrorist group in al-Husseiniyeh town and killed and injured all of its members.
In Daraya, the army units’ operations resulted in killing terrorists and destroying their weapons and ammunition. Among the dead were Youssef al-Sheikh and Ayman Shoudeb.
A gathering for terrorists affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra was destroyed in Yabroud area, in addition to the killing of Mohammad Tu’meh, leader of an armed terrorist group, and most of his group’s members.
Army destroys mortars, rocket launch pads, eliminates terrorists in Aleppo
A unit of the armed forces destroyed terrorists’ gatherings in Kubtan al-Jabal, north of al-Nirab camp and east of Deir Hafer in Aleppo, killing and injuring a number of terrorists, a military source told SANA reporter.
The source added that weapons and ammunition loaded in 4 cars were destroyed on al-Bab-Deir Hafer road and 2 cars on the northern entrance of Tadef village, killing all terrorists inside them.
Army units destroyed 3 rocket launch pads and mortars for terrorists in the villages of al-Jadideh, Kweiris and Rasm al-Abboud, killing and injuring a number of terrorists.
An army unit confronted terrorist attack on the citizens of al-Adnanieh village in Aleppo countryside, eliminating a big number of terrorists and destroying their weapons and ammunition.
Terrorists’ gatherings in the villages of al-Kasis, al-Shiekh Said, Abtin, al-Wdihi, Hadadin al-Gharbia, Rasm Bakro, Rasm Akrish and Rasm al-Sheikh, were destroyed with all the weapons inside them, while another army unit foiled terrorists’ attempt to infiltrate into Talet al-Shurfeh and the Cement Factory in al-Ramouseh, east of Aleppo, killing all of them.
A unit of the armed forces clashed with terrorists tried to enter the safe areas in the ancient city of Aleppo, killing scores of then in al-Zahrawi souk and al-Sweiqa and near the Justice Palace.
