Saudi Arabia, Israel Capitalize on Chaos in Middle East

the real Syrian Free Press

Saudi Arabia and Israel are fomenting chaos across the Middle East as they are the key beneficiaries to any regional instability, a political analyst writes at Press TVwebsite.

“Saudi Arabia, as well as Israel, stand to gain from the wave of terrorism hitting the region, as that violence foments sectarianism and fragments popular democratic movements,” Finian Cunningham wrote in a Tuesday article.

“The Saudi and Zionist regimes, based on despotism and divisiveness, have most to lose if peace and democracy were to flourish in the region,” he added.

Many of the regional countries, including Syria, Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Lebanon have been grappling with a growing wave of violence on a daily basis caused by extremist Takfiri and Salafi groups in the region.

The analyst pointed to Saudi Arabia’s sponsoring and arming of extremist mercenary groups with hundreds of millions of dollars, adding, “These Wahhabi terror networks, which are…

Palestinian officials: Abbas and Dahlan served poison to Arafat

the real Syrian Free Press

Palestinian lawyer Fahmi Shabaneh has charged that Palestinian Authority and Fatah leaders are complicit in the killing of former Palestinian President Yasser Arafat.

Shabaneh, who is a former senior official in the PA’s intelligence services, is accusing both PA President Mahmoud Abbas and former senior Fatah leader Mohamed Dahlan of being involved in the poisoning of Arafat.

The lawyer explained that he has documents which prove that the two men were involved in adding the polonium to the medical drugs served to Arafat during the period of his house arrest.

Shabaneh, who took part in an investigation into the death of Arafat conducted back in 2005, described how Dahlan hid Arafat’s drugs supply, and then damaged it. The “PA official also prevented Arafat’s doctor from looking after him during his last day,” Shabaneh said.

In September 2009, Abbas fired the head of the PLO’s political branch in Damascus, Farouq Al-Qadoumi…

Ambulances Used for Smuggling Weapons from Turkey to Syria – No to Unmonitored ‘Humanitarian Aid’

the real Syrian Free Press

Weapons for insurgents in Syria are being smuggled in ambulances, reveals the Turkish newspaper Yurt, quoting a terrorist who witnessed smuggling operations.

The revelation comes as analysts warn that an international push for renewed threats of military aggression against Syria is being planned to force the Syrian government to allow unmonitored cross-border humanitarian operations.

In a report Yurt published on Sunday, the newspaper quotes a terrorist, using the initials “M.T.”, as saying that training courses for insurgents have been held on Turkish islands.

M.T. added, that the training began long before the first violent episodes in Jisr al-Shoughour, in the Idleb province of Syria, at the beginning of the war in 2011.

M.T.’s statement corroborates an abundance of evidence in support of accusations that the war in Syria has been planned with the support of foreign actors, long before the eruption of the so-called “Arab Spring” in early 2011.

The terrorist also corroborated reports about…

Syrian Arab Army-20131125

Syrian Arab Army’s rapid and successful takeover of the strategic town of Sfireh and nearby villages just to the south of Aleppo city has armed opposition visibly shaken.

For too long they’ve been complacent and overconfident that their control over much of Aleppo province was unchallengeable. But a number of significant factors have changed this calculus and proved to be a rude awakening.

This has hastened a shotgun wedding of several major Islamist factions fighting in Aleppo in the name of the Islamic Front as well as a call to arms and a lockdown in areas of the city they control.

A curfew was imposed, and the only crossing from opposition-held east Aleppo into the regime-held western part was pwemanently shut, which meant students couldn’t go to university and workers, especially civil servants, couldn’t get to their jobs. Residents of Aleppo now face the bizarre notion that to travel…
