August 24, 2013 ~ Syrian Provinces, (SANA) – The Syrian Arab army on Saturday continued its national duty in pursuing the armed terrorist groups in different Syrian cities.
Army units eliminate terrorists in Hasaka
Army units eliminated numbers of terrorists in Hasaka countryside, among them leader of a terrorist group, and destroyed their ordnance and ammunition.
An official source told SANA that an army unit carried out a qualitative operation against terrorists’ hideouts in al-Tweineh town west of al-Hasaka city, killing and injuring a number of terrorists.
The terrorist Ahmad Deeb al-Jassem, leader of a terrorist group was killed near al-Sabbagh roundabout in al-Hasaka city when he was trying to sneak into the city, the source said.
Army units kill terrorists affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra in Barzeh, destroy concentrations in Damascus countryside
Army units killed and injured terrorists affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra in Barzeh neighborhood and destroyed their dens and gatherings in Douma, Rankous, Yabroud and Adra in Damascus countryside.
A military source told SANA that army units pursued members of an armed terrorist group linked to Jabhat al-Nusra in Barzeh neighborhood and killed most of them.
Rateb Abu Steif, Samer al-Kurdi, Hamza al-Baarini, Abdullah Shaaban, Diaa Mohammad al-Erbini, Mohammad Khankan, Mohammad Ziad Moussa, Anas Ziad Moussa, Anas Fayez Khalifa, Alaa al-Esh and Nouri al-Abed were identified among the killed terrorists.
The source added that dens and gatherings for terrorists have been destroyed in Adra and in the area surrounding al-Jarra roundabout in Douma and near Carina restaurant in Yabroud, All the terrorists inside have been reportedly killed.
Another army unit chased members of an armed terrorist group in Rankous plain and killed most of them, also destroyed their weapons and ammunition.
Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists killed in Aleppo
A military source said that army units killed and injured Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Aleppo northern countryside.
The source indicated that the injuries among terrorists have been transported to Turkey, among them Ahmad Akkad, Firas Kajan, Ahmad Kajan, Yousef Dallo and Ihsan Abdul Ghafour Ajjan.
Terrorist infiltration attempt foiled in Homs
Units of the armed forces killed a number of terrorists in Homs and its countryside, foiling an attempt by a number of terrorists to infiltrate from the southern farms into Palmyra, destroying their vehicles and weapons.
A military source told SANA that the army killed several terrorists and injured many others in the neighborhoods of al-Qusour, al-Hamidiya, Bab Houd, while an army unit eliminated the dens of terrorists in al-Saan, al-Ghantu, al-Dar al-Kabeera and Tabeisa.
Meanwhile, a unit of the army clashed with members of an armed terrorist group who were trying to infiltrate from the southern farms into Palmyra, inflicting heavy losses upon them.
Terrorists eliminated in Daraa and its countryside
A military source told SANA that units of the armed forces destroyed terrorists’ gatherings in al-Nazhin Camp and al-Sad road in Daraa city, killing a number of terrorists, among them Mohammad Khalid Salah, Hassan Mustafa al-Aqel Abazaid, Mohammad Ihsan al-Horani, Mohammad Munzer Ghabaghbeh and Mohammad al-Fashtaki.
The source added that an armed terrorist groups were eliminated in al-Mzairib, Tal Shhab, al-Bassaleh and Tafas. Terrorists Yaser al-Nablsi, Fouad al-Saadi, Abdul-Majid al-Zoubi, Shadi al-Zoubani and Khalid al-Khatib were identified among the dead.
In Bosra al-Sham city, a unit of the armed forces confronted terrorist attack against the citizens in the city, killing a number of terrorists and injuring others.
The army destroyed a terrorists’ car loaded with weapons and ammunition on Da’el-Tafas road, while units of the armed forces eliminated armed terrorist groups in Nawa and al-Hrak.
Terrorist Mohammad Rifat al-Fa’ouri was identified among the dead.
4 citizens injured due to terrorist attack by rockets on Salhab town, Hama
Meanwhile, 4 citizens were injured by a terrorist attack by rocket shells on Salhab town, Hama.
A source at Hama police command told SANA reporter that 6 rocket shells fired by terrorists from al-Trimseh village on Salhab town, causing the injury of 4 persons as they were admitted to Jeb Ramleh hospital.
The source added that the terrorist’s attack caused huge material damage at Mohammad Hisho school and the citizens’ houses.
